January 6, 2026

The H2V Magallanes Trade Association highlights the recognition given to its Executive Director, Salvador Harambour, by the Punta Arenas newspaper La Prensa Austral, which named him one of the 10 Outstanding Figures of 2025.

The traditional Magellanic media outlet praised his contribution to the development of a new economic hub, highlighting him as "a familiar and transparent face of green hydrogen in the region, promoting trust and dialogue with the community."

In relation to his role as representative of the H2V union in Magallanes, Harambour has emphasized the importance of building trust and maintaining open dialogue with the community, considering that the installation of a new energy industry poses a significant challenge for both the developers and the region and the country as a whole.

Salvador Harambour is from Magallanes, a geologist by profession, with a degree from the University of Chile, postgraduate studies abroad, and extensive professional experience in the energy sector, which has contributed to strengthening a technical, territorial, and participatory vision for the development of green hydrogen in Magallanes.
