Two new partners and ministries join the Magellan Pact

18/8/25

The H2V Magallanes Trade Association participated in the most recent session of the Magallanes Pact, held in Punta Arenas. This public-private agreement seeks to promote long-term initiatives for a harmonious and sustainable development of the region, enabling the installation of the green hydrogen industry and its derivatives.

On the occasion, the adhesion of two of our partner companies was made official: ACCIONA & Nordex Green Hydrogen and Consorcio Austral. The Ministries of Environment and Education were also incorporated, strengthening the collaborative nature of the pact.

The day also included the signing of two cooperation agreements by H2V Magallanes:

- With the Ministry of Public Works, to support the planning of enabling road infrastructure.

- With the Ministry of Education and representatives of higher education institutions, aimed at promoting human capital formation.

The Magallanes Pact was signed in December 2023 by the Central Government, the Regional Government and H2V Magallanes' partner development companies. This unprecedented initiative addresses five strategic axes: human capacities, productive chaining, technological innovation, common infrastructure and harmonious development of the region.

H2V Magallanes currently brings together six companies with nine projects in different stages of development, both on the mainland and in Tierra del Fuego: ACCIONA & Nordex Green Hydrogen, Consorcio Austral, EDF Power Solutions Chile, HNH Energy, TEG Chile and TotalEnergies H2.
