Magellanic green hydrogen guild met with Australian ambassador to Chile

7/8/25

During their recent visit to the Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, a delegation from the Australian Embassy in Chile, headed by Ambassador Andrew Martin, met with representatives of the Magallanes Green Hydrogen Producers Association.

The Ambassador, together with the Minister Counselor for Trade, Alvin D'Almaida, and the Senior Political Officer Romina van den Berg, visited some of the energy projects that are expected to be developed in the area. They were accompanied by the President of the Board of Directors of H2V Magallanes, Mario Marchese, and the Executive Director, Salvador Harambour.

The companies that make up this trade association agree with the oceanic nation's vision in the sense of moving towards the installation of an innovative and transforming industry.

The Australian delegation met in Magallanes with authorities, organizations and companies looking for new ways of collaboration between Australia and Chile. In this context, the opportunities to collaborate in energy transition and green hydrogen stand out among the most relevant topics of common interest.
