Green hydrogen guilds sign agreement for the development of the industry in Chile

5/8/25

As Trade Association of Green Hydrogen Producers and its derivatives of Magallanes, we participated in the city of Talcahuano in the signing of the National Collaboration Agreement for the Territorial Development of Green Hydrogen in Chile, signed jointly with H2 Chile, H2 Antofagasta and H2V Biobío.

This milestone establishes a formal cooperation framework between the associations, with the aim of strengthening the deployment of this new energy industry from the territories and enhancing interregional collaboration.

Salvador Harambour, Executive Director of H2V Magallanes, pointed out that the collaboration agreement between the different regional and national trade associations seeks to consolidate the relationship and generate synergies that favor the development of the industry in Chile.

He stated that each of the regions has its own particularities, with photovoltaic and wind projects of different scales, but with similar technical and regulatory challenges.

The spokesman for H2V Magallanes stressed that this agreement also aims to advance the development of domestic markets for green hydrogen and ammonia, and in this sense it is positive to build strong links with the unions representing all stakeholders related to this new energy.
